Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join their team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a dual-qualified Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to join a respected consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality asbestos services across the North West.

Working across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public sector properties, you'll benefit from a structured workload, strong technical support, and genuine long-term career progression.

THE ROLE

As an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, you will undertake both asbestos surveying and analytical duties across a range of client sites throughout Liverpool and the surrounding region. Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst will deliver high-quality surveying and analytical services while ensuring full compliance with HSG264, HSG248, current asbestos legislation, and UKAS procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carrying out Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
  • Undertaking air monitoring, four-stage clearances, reassurance testing, leak testing, and smoke testing in accordance with HSG248
  • Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey and analytical reports
  • Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of commercial and public sector properties
  • Managing your own workload efficiently across multiple client sites
  • Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst
  • Strong understanding of HSG264, HSG248, and current asbestos legislation
  • Experience working within a UKAS-accredited consultancy is desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills
  • Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work
