Are you an experienced Senior Ecologist looking to join an independent environmental and planning consultancy working across renewable energy, infrastructure and nature-based projects?
The Senior Ecologist role will involve:
- Managing medium to large and complex ecological projects
- Leading surveys, site visits and ECoW work
- Producing high-quality ecological assessments, reports and management plans
- Providing specialist ecological advice to clients and stakeholders
- Managing subcontractors and quality-checking project deliverables
- Line managing and mentoring junior ecologists
- Supporting business development, tenders and client relationships

Requirements:
- Relevant degree and strong consultancy experience
- Associate/Full CIEEM membership or working towards
- Strong project management and report-writing skills
- Excellent knowledge of UK ecology legislation and guidance
- Experience mentoring or managing junior staff
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or within a commutable distance of the Liverpool office
