The Opportunity
A growing engineering consultancy is looking for a Document Controller to take responsibility for project information across its Liverpool office. You'll work directly with engineers, clients, architects and contractors, ensuring drawings, reports and specifications are issued accurately and at the correct revision.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain drawing and document registers across multiple projects
- Manage revisions, transmittals, document numbering and issue sheets
- Upload and manage information through client and contractor CDEs
- Maintain project folder structures and completed project archives
- Chase and record information from external consultants
- Support engineers with reports, tender packages and project documentation
- Help improve document control procedures as the business grows
Candidate Requirements
- Previous document control experience, ideally within engineering, construction or architecture
- Strong Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Outlook and Excel skills
- Experience with Asite, Viewpoint, Aconex, Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar
- Understanding of ISO 19650 naming conventions
- Accurate and organised with the ability to manage several project deadlines
- Clear and professional communication skills
