A leading environmental and ecological consultancy is looking to appoint a Consultant Ecologist to join their growing team in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Consultant Ecologist to work with a respected consultancy delivering ecological and environmental solutions across infrastructure, development, transport, and public sector projects throughout the UK.

The Role:

  • Undertake ecological surveys and site assessments
  • Assist with protected species surveys and reporting
  • Support Biodiversity Net Gain and habitat management projects

  • Support project delivery across the South East and wider UK

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Consultant Ecologist or within ecological consultancy
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related discipline
  • Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Must live in or near the Kent office location
  • Protected species survey experience desirable
