This is an excellent opportunity for a senior hydrogeologist to join one of Britain's leading hydro consultancies, who have expertise in renewable energy, with exciting times ahead, including expansion plans and technically challenging projects. You will be part of a hydrogeology team based in Leicester, who offer a wide range of hydro and geothermal projects and the training required to further develop your skills.

This senior hydrogeologist position includes site visits and office work and you will be joining a well established and friendly team of experts in mine and heating schemes, river and lake source systems and water supply boreholes.

To be considered, you need to have a driving licence, a strong background of hydrogeology (including a hydrogeology Masters degree) and the following experience:

  • Conducting hydrogeological assessments, including field investigations
  • Analyse groundwater flow, quality, and sustainability
  • Apply GIS platforms (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS)
  • Drilling supervision, and thermal response testing
  • Water quality sampling to determine chemical parameters and water quality
  • Prepare high-quality reports, datasets, and visualisations
  • Water resource management and low-carbon energy solutions
