An excellent opportunity has become available for an Experienced Architectural Assistant to join a growing architectural team in Leicester. The practice specialises in designing bespoke accessible homes across the UK, delivering projects that make a genuine difference to clients' lives. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of project stages while working alongside experienced Architects on technically interesting and rewarding schemes.

Daily Duties

  • Assist with projects across multiple RIBA stages
  • Produce planning, presentation, and technical drawing packages
  • Prepare design and construction documentation
  • Liaise with consultants and external stakeholders
  • Attend site visits and client meetings
  • Assist with planning and Building Regulations applications
  • Support senior team members throughout project delivery
  • Ensure work is completed to a high technical standard

Ideal Candidate

  • Part 2 and/or 1 qualified Architectural Assistant with several years' UK industry experience
  • Strong design and technical ability
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Happy to work from the Leicester office five days a week within an agile working environment
