An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 Air Tightness Engineer to join a well-established engineering consultancy that specialises in air leakage testing, air pressure monitoring, and sustainability consultancy for the construction industry. This role offers the flexibility to be based near Leeds or work remotely across the Midlands, Yorkshire, or South East England. The primary focus of this position is to conduct air tightness and leakage testing on commercial builds, ensuring compliance with UK construction regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conducting site air tightness and leakage testing in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
- Transporting testing equipment between sites and laboratories.
- Liaising with site contacts and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Preparing and implementing test methodologies.
- Setting up equipment and instrumentation for testing.
- Performing tests in compliance with UK construction regulations.
- Collecting, interpreting, and analysing data from tests.
- Preparing detailed and accurate reports.
- Providing remedial advice in the event of test failures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in air tightness testing.
