An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its growing team. This opportunity would suit either a recent graduate or an individual with relevant post‑graduate experience within the transportation or structural engineering sector. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across the commercial, retail, residential, and industrial sectors, supporting clients throughout the project lifecycle. Graduate engineers work under the guidance of experienced engineers and managers, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and technicians. Key Responsibilities
- Undertake engineering analysis and prepare calculations for structural engineering projects.
- Use relevant technical analysis and design software effectively.
- Provide technical support, including report writing and presentations.
- Attend design meetings, site meetings, and carry out site inspections, including occasional overnight stays.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, clients, contractors, and other design team members, providing technical advice where required.
- Deliver work in line with agreed project budgets and timescales.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ post‑graduate experience preferred.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
