We are seeking a motivated Environmental Engineer to join a growing team delivering remediation and environmental improvement projects in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Engineer who enjoys a mix of site-based and technical work, contributing to sustainable land development across Leeds.
As an Environmental Engineer, you will support the delivery of contaminated land and earthworks projects, helping to return sites to safe and usable conditions. Based in Leeds, you will be involved in a range of projects and work closely with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake site investigations, sampling, and monitoring
- Assist with the design and implementation of remediation strategies
- Support earthworks and materials management activities
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statements
- Ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety standards
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators
We are looking for an Environmental Engineer who is practical, detail-focused, and keen to grow their career.
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
- Experience in remediation or contaminated land (desirable)
- Live within a commutable distance of their Leeds office
