A Civil Engineer is required to join a growing, well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer who wants variety, support and genuine progression, rather than being boxed into one discipline or scheme type. This role sits within a friendly and collaborative team delivering highways, drainage and development infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, industrial, energy and specialist sectors. As a Civil Engineer, you will remain hands-on with design while being supported by experienced senior engineers who actively invest in your technical development and progression toward Chartership.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver highways, drainage and development infrastructure designs
- Prepare and check drawings, calculations and technical specifications
- Support multidisciplinary coordination across civil projects
- Assist with S38, S278 and general infrastructure schemes
- Manage your workload and contribute to efficient project delivery
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain high technical standards
About You:
- Degree qualified Civil Engineer with 1 to 3 years UK consultancy experience
- Interest in highways and development infrastructure design
- Working towards Chartered status
- Confident using AutoCAD, with exposure to Civil 3D and InfoDrainage
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
