The Role
As a Junior Engineering Geologist, you will support the delivery of ground investigation projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure schemes. You will gain exposure to both site-based work and office-based reporting, developing strong technical and practical skills within a supportive team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with site investigations including trial pitting, borehole logging, and sampling
- Supporting engineers and senior geologists on ground investigation projects
- Logging soil and rock in accordance with BS5930 standards
- Carrying out basic geotechnical and geological data analysis
- Assisting in the preparation of factual reports
- Supporting desk studies and site walkovers
