We are looking for an Engineering Geologist to join a growing ground engineering team in Inverness, supporting projects across infrastructure, renewables and general development throughout the Highlands. This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants a mix of site and office work, with exposure to large-scale renewable schemes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting and carrying out ground investigations
  • Logging soil and rock to a good standard
  • Supervising site works and contractors
  • Collecting and managing ground data
  • Assisting with factual and interpretive reports
  • Supporting geotechnical input on renewable energy projects (e.g. wind farm bases, access tracks, cable routes)

What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or similar
  • Some experience in ground investigation or site work
  • Good understanding of logging and site procedures
  • Willingness to travel across the Highlands for site work
  • Full UK driving licence
