A growing environmental consultancy is seeking an Associate Acoustic Consultant to lead the re-establishment of its in-house acoustics capability in London. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a service line, rebuild internal expertise, and shape the future direction of the discipline within a supportive, expanding business. The Role
You will lead the delivery and development of the acoustics offering from the London office, working across a diverse project portfolio while driving the transition of outsourced work back in-house. Projects include:
- Wind energy developments
- Planning and urban development
- Residential schemes
- Battery energy storage (BESS)
- Employment and industrial facilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead acoustics projects from inception to completion
- Produce and review high-quality technical reports
- Act as technical lead for clients and internal teams
- Improve processes, QA systems, and best practice standards
- Reduce outsourcing by building in-house capability
- Support business development and service growth
- Mentor junior staff and help build a London-based team
About You
- Senior or Associate-level experience in acoustic consultancy
