We have an urgent requirement for a Graduate Acoustics Consultant to join an independent consultancy who offer a range of environmental assessment services for the construction industry. This forward thinking company is at a pivotal stage in growth for the acoustic division in London and are looking for their next generation of acoustic professionals due to internal promotion and expansion.
Based in London, you will need to have a degree in Acoustics or relevant discipline and also have either corporate membership or associate membership of the Institute of Acoustics. Candidates need to have a passion for environmental design and reporting, whilst also possessing a keen eye for detail and accuracy in numerical modelling and data.
Duties will include:
- Undertaking acoustic surveys on construction projects.
- Liaising with clients and external contacts such as local authorities.
- Analysing data and preparing technical reports.
- Acoustic Modelling.
- Reporting to senior staff.
This need has arisen due to a rise in workload in and around the London region, and you will need to be flexible in working extra hours outside normal office times due to the nature of acoustic measurement requirements. A driving licence is essential and ownership of a car is preferred.
