The Role

  • Supervising and managing site investigations in the UK and overseas
  • Overseeing drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing (CPTs, trial pits, boreholes)
  • Logging soil and rock to current standards
  • Coordinating site teams, plant, and subcontractors
  • Liaising with clients, engineers, and project managers on site
  • Contributing to factual and interpretative reporting where required

About You

  • Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar
  • Experience working for a ground investigation contractor or site-based consultancy
  • Strong understanding of site investigation techniques and ground conditions
  • Confident working independently on site
  • Willingness to travel internationally for project work
