The Role
- Supervising and managing site investigations in the UK and overseas
- Overseeing drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing (CPTs, trial pits, boreholes)
- Logging soil and rock to current standards
- Coordinating site teams, plant, and subcontractors
- Liaising with clients, engineers, and project managers on site
- Contributing to factual and interpretative reporting where required
About You
- Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar
- Experience working for a ground investigation contractor or site-based consultancy
- Strong understanding of site investigation techniques and ground conditions
- Confident working independently on site
- Willingness to travel internationally for project work
