An established and growing environmental and geotechnical consultancy is looking to recruit a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their Aberdeen team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of contaminated land, site investigation and remediation projects across Scotland and the wider UK. You'll be part of a supportive technical team, with exposure to projects from initial site walkovers through to detailed reporting and remediation support. The role offers a strong mix of office-based work and site experience, alongside clear opportunities for professional development.
This role would suit a Geoenvironmental Engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a well established Aberdeen based team.
Responsibilities- Phase 1 desk studies and site walkovers
- Phase 2 intrusive ground investigations
- Soil, groundwater and gas sampling
- Factual and interpretative reporting
- Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators
- Supporting remediation and validation works
- A degree in Geoenvironmental Science, Geology, Environmental Science or similar
- Experience working in a geoenvironmental or contaminated land role
- Understanding of UK contaminated land guidance and ground investigation practices
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
- Must live within a commutable distance from Aberdeen office
- Competitive salary based on experience
