An established and award-winning architectural practice is seeking a Project Architect, Senior Architect or Building Surveyor to join its Fordingbridge studio. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a growing portfolio of education-focused refurbishment and adaptation projects, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. Daily Duties

  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Prepare planning, technical, and tender drawing packages
  • Coordinate and liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Produce feasibility studies and design proposals
  • Undertake contract administration and site inspections
  • Support project delivery from concept through to completion
  • Work collaboratively across wider project teams and support colleague‑led schemes
  • Ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget, and quality standards

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Architect or Building Surveyor with relevant project experience
  • Strong project leadership and organisational skills
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Experience producing technical and tender documentation
  • Good understanding of contract administration and site management
  • Experience within education or SEND projects desirable
  • Knowledge of JCT traditional procurement advantageous
  • Self‑sufficient, adaptable and team‑oriented approach
  • Ability to manage workload effectively within tight project timelines
