Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum Location: Wimbledon Are you an experienced Flood Risk & Drainage professional looking for your next opportunity? An established and independent environmental consultancy are looking for an accomplished Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant to join their expanding team in Wimbledon. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a range of exciting projects, providing practical and sustainable solutions in flood risk, drainage, and SuDS. As a Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant, your responsibilities will include: Preparing technical flood risk, drainage, and SuDS assessments. Undertaking hydrological and hydraulic modelling and interpreting results. Working with drainage modelling software and CAD packages. Supporting business development - including preparing project quotations/tenders and communicating with clients Managing multiple projects and priorities effectively. Writing clear and comprehensive technical reports. Planning and conducting site investigationsWhat's on Offer for the successful Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant? Hybrid working, providing a flexible approach to your working week.The requirements for the Flood Risk & Drainage Consultant: A degree in a relevant subject Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within flood risk, drainage, hydrology or a related environmental discipline. Experience with drainage modelling packages such as Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage or AutoCAD. Strong technical report-writing abilities. Confidence when communicating with clients and other stakeholders. The ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities within a busy consultancy environment. A full UK driving licence. Full right to work in the UK.
