Overview

As a senior Flood Risk Associate, you will act as the technical authority on flood risk, reviewing and approving reports and supporting a team of specialists. You’ll liaise with clients, contribute to bids, and undertake flood risk assessments and planning work across diverse projects. You’ll deliver site intelligence, innovative design solutions, and project management to help secure successful outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Act as a senior technical authority in flood risk, reviewing and signing off technical reports
  • Support a team of flood risk and drainage specialists
  • Liaise with clients and contribute to bids and tenders
  • Undertake flood risk assessments and planning-related work
  • Provide site intelligence, innovative design solutions, and project management across projects

Key requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in flood risk, drainage, or water management consultancy
  • Experience writing and reviewing Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and technical reports
  • Qualified degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Management (or related)
  • Strong communication and management skills
  • Knowledge of relevant flood risk and drainage modelling/design software
  • Live in or near Reading
  • Full UK driving license
  • Right to work in the UK
