My client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for a Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join an established team of Flood Risk and Drainage Engineers based in Wrexham.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Consequence Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, SAB Applications and SuDS Designs using Infodrainage or Flow.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally to work from the office 3 days a week.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on varied Flood Risk, Surface Water, Drainage Projects, Local Authority and Government/Defence Projects. You will also have the opportunity to complete varied residential, commercial, industrial and healthcare projects.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2 and 3.

-Flood Consequence Assessments.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Surface Water and Foul Drainage Strategies.

-SAB Applications.

-Flood Risk Mapping.

-Detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using Flow and infodrainage for residential, commercial, mixed use development projects.

-Drainage Area Planning.

-You will also have the opportunity to be supported to Chartered status.
