In this role you will inspect and test fire dampers across commercial and residential sites to ensure compliance with standards.
You will work with a growing West Midlands team to deliver reliable service, manage remedial works, and document findings for clients.

Responsibilities
- Test and inspect fire dampers on commercial and residential sites
- Perform routine damper inspections in line with relevant standards
- Identify defects and carry out remedial works as needed
- Complete accurate service reports documenting inspection findings
- Visit multiple client sites across West Midlands and surrounding areas
- Maintain professional service while upholding health and safety standards
- Be flexible to work both day and twilight shifts when required
- Key requirements
- Previous experience as a Fire Damper Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of fire damper testing, inspection and remedial works
- Ideally knowledge of or qualification related to BS 9999:2017
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to stay away from home when required
- Flexibility to work day and twilight shifts
