Are you an experienced Geoenvironmental Consultant looking to take the next step into a leadership position with a respected specialised environmental consultancy?

We are seeking an Associate Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing Exeter office.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in developing the geoenvironmental team, managing a diverse portfolio of projects, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development within a collaborative and supportive environment.

You'll work on a variety of exciting projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure and regeneration sectors, providing technical expertise from initial site investigation through to remediation and project delivery.

The Role

  • Lead and manage geoenvironmental projects from inception to completion.
  • Oversee Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Ground Investigations and Contaminated Land Risk Assessments.
  • Design and supervise site investigations and remediation strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Prepare fee proposals and support business development activities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high technical standard.
  • Work closely with geotechnical, engineering and environmental teams on multidisciplinary projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience within geoenvironmental or contaminated land consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of contaminated land legislation and risk assessment.
  • Experience managing projects and leading teams.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
