Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking Preliminary Risk Assessments (Phase 1 Desk Studies) and intrusive ground investigations
  • Assisting with the planning and supervision of Phase 2 site investigations
  • Carrying out soil and rock logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, and sampling activities
  • Supervising drilling rigs, excavation works, and subcontractors on site
  • Coordinating laboratory testing and interpreting geotechnical and environmental data
  • Assisting with geotechnical assessments including settlement and earthworks evaluations
  • Supporting remediation projects and validation works
  • Preparing technical reports including factual, interpretative, and remediation reports
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary design teams
  • Ensuring all site activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations
