THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering a range of asbestos analytical services across client sites throughout Essex and the surrounding areas. Working independently and alongside an experienced technical team, the Asbestos Analyst will ensure all analytical work is completed to the highest standards while maintaining full compliance with HSG248, current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertaking four-stage clearances in accordance with HSG248
- Carrying out background, reassurance, personal, and leak air monitoring
- Conducting smoke testing where required
- Producing accurate and compliant analytical reports
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Managing your own workload and daily schedule
