They are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join their friendly and ambitious environmental planning team.

Requirements for Applicants:
- Degree in environmental science or a related discipline
- MSc in a relevant environmental field
- Minimum 3+ years' professional experience (public or private sector)
- Thorough knowledge of UK environmental assessment, planning, and nature conservation legislation and guidance
- Proven ability to produce high-quality written reports suitable for public consultation
- Membership/Chartership with IEMA or a similar professional institute
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational abilities
- Strong numerical skills and proficiency in common software applications
Desired Experience:
- Proficiency in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS
- Experience working across multiple environmental disciplines
- Experience in business development, including bid preparation and sales
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertaking site assessments
- Contributing to the preparation of high-quality environmental assessment reports
- Day-to-day client liaison
- Working collaboratively with project team members
- Attending client and stakeholder meetings
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Supporting business development activities, including bid writing
