Energy Modeller Ref:BM469 This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding multidisciplined consultancy who provide expert sustainability and MEP services to the built environment. They are on the lookout for an intermediate Energy Modeller to hit the ground for their sustainability team based in Southampton. Key responsibilities for an IES Modeller include: Use IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis to optimise building performance Ensure projects are in compliance with CIBSE TM52 and TM59 by carrying out Part O assessments Work alongside architects and engineers to ensure the best energy design strategies are put in place Help improve client understanding of Part L and Part O Provide sustainable solutions to clients to reduce their carbon footprint and mentor the more junior members of the team.The ideal IES Modeller will have: Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling and analysis Relevant experience in a similar modeller or consultancy role within the built environment industry Educational background within an environmental science or engineering field Experience producing TM52 and TM59 reports in accordance with CIBSE guidelines Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong attention to detailBenefits of the role include: Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 Hybrid working Pension scheme Career progression Generous holiday allowanceIf This role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to sustainability please feel free to contact Ben Moore on (phone number removed) or email (url removed).
