We are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Acoustics Engineer for an independent consultancy based in the Surrey region. Due to an increased workload, the client needs a junior level acoustician. This role covers all areas of acoustics, including Environmental Noise and Vibration, Industrial and occupational noise and vibration, and building and architectural acoustics.
Responsibilities:
- Undertaking noise surveys and assessments.
- Making acoustical calculations.
- Noise modelling using specialist software.
- Carrying out project administration.
- Supporting senior staff.
- Report writing.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified in Acoustics or a closely related field.
- A full clean driving licence.
- Preferably some working experience in Acoustics.
- Knowledge of BS 5228, BS 4142, and ProPG is an advantage.
