The Geo-Environmental Site Engineer selected will be required to oversee large and medium scale site investigations across the Durham, Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Yorkshire area. You'll be travelling at times and staying away from home on some projects. The role includes writing factual reports, carrying out desktop studies, groundwater and gas monitoring, soil and rock sampling and borehole logging.
To be considered for the Geo-Environmental Site Engineer role you should:
- Be familiar with and have experience with UK site investigation techniques from geotechnical and/or geo-environmental positions.
- Have a degree in a relevant subject, for example geology or geotechnical/civil engineering or environmental engineering.
- Have a full UK Driving Licence.
- Live commutable to the Durham area.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
This is a permanent role.
