Senior Hydraulic Modeller Exeter 50,000 - 60,000 A leading environmental consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join their Exeter team.
This is a technical role suited to an experienced flood risk professional with strong hydraulic modelling experience who is looking to take on more responsibility across complex projects.
You will work across a range of flood risk and water environment projects, undertaking hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessments and technical reporting.
The role will also involve supporting project delivery, developing modelling approaches and working closely with clients, regulators and other technical disciplines.
The Role Deliver 1D and 2D hydraulic modelling projects using software such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW and/or Info Works ICM Develop and review hydraulic models, including model build, verification, calibration and sensitivity testing Undertake flood risk assessments and technical studies for a range of development and infrastructure projects Produce technical reports, drawings and flood mapping Interpret hydrological and hydraulic data and provide clear technical recommendations Prepare scopes and methodologies for modelling projects Manage elements of projects, including budgets, programmes and technical deliverables Liaise with clients, regulators, local authorities and other consultants Provide technical support and mentoring to junior members of th...
