Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a Principal Engineering Geologist to join their growing Exeter team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineering Geologist looking to take on a senior technical and project leadership role, managing ground investigations, mentoring junior staff and supporting the continued growth of a well-established consultancy.
The Role
The successful candidate will lead the planning, management and delivery of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects across a diverse range of sectors including infrastructure, residential, commercial, industrial and renewable energy developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and delivering ground investigation projects from tender stage through to completion.
- Designing and specifying intrusive site investigations, including boreholes, trial pits and in-situ testing.
- Supervising and overseeing site operations, contractors and subcontractors.
- Reviewing and interpreting geological, geotechnical and environmental data.
- Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports.
- Providing geotechnical advice.
