Responsibilities

  • Assist with site walkovers.
  • Carry out ground investigations and Phase 1 desktop studies.
  • Take soil samples, groundwater and gas monitoring.
  • Perform borehole logging.
  • Prepare phase plans.
  • Write factual and interpretive reports.
  • Observe day‑to‑day tasks to develop geo‑environmental knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BSc in geology, engineering geology, geography, geotechnical engineering, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  • Experience in a geo‑environmental and/or geotechnical position.
  • Willingness to work outdoors on hands‑on projects.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Commutable to Exeter and surrounding area.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
