Key Responsibilities
- Managing and delivering geo-environmental and contaminated land projects from inception to completion
- Planning, supervising, and coordinating intrusive site investigations
- Undertaking contaminated land risk assessments and remediation strategies
- Interpreting geological, geotechnical, and environmental data
- Preparing Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 Site Investigation Reports, and technical interpretative reports
- Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Mentoring and supporting junior consultants and engineers
- Managing project budgets, programmes, and resource allocation
- Ensuring compliance with current environmental legislation and health and safety standards
- Supporting business development activities and client relationship management
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working as a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant or in a similar geo-environmental role
- Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology, Geo-Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong understanding of contaminated land legislation and UK regulatory frameworks
- Experience managing site investigations and contaminated land risk assessments
- Excellent report writing and technical interpretation skills
- Strong project management and client-facing experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
