The company works on varied planning and development projects, with opportunities to build expertise across protected species, habitat surveys and ecological assessment.As a Consultant Ecologist Bat specialist, you will undertake a varied mix of fieldwork, reporting and ecological consultancy, with a particular focus on bat surveys and protected species work.The role will include:Bat surveys, including PRAs, emergence and activity surveysEcological surveys, assessments and data analysisReport writing and GIS mappingSupporting protected species licensing and mitigationLiaising with clients and project stakeholdersWorking across South Wales and the South WestRequirements:Previous ecological consultancy experienceStrong bat survey experience; relevant bat licence desirableGood report-writing and communication skillsFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleFull right to work in the UKLiving in or near to the Cardiff officeIf you are interested in this or other positions in the Ecology industry, please do not hesitate to contact Jack porter on
