Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer/Supervisor - £62,500 plus vehicle, package and structured career path in Northwest London & Herts.

My client, a sub-contract HVAC Engineering specialist, is recruiting for a Senior Gas Engineer with Supervisory experience with both Commercial & Domestic Gas Tickets or experience. You will be based around the North and West London areas as well as some work in Hertfordshire covering their mixed commercial portfolio. This is a permanent full-time role, with a clear career path and fast track into management. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:

  • Assist the Operations Director with regards to Combustion servicing and remedial works across London & Northern Home Counties.
  • Work mainly in large residential blocks, commercial offices and schools providing commercial gas boiler maintenance, repairs and minor installation works.
  • Routine mechanical maintenance of associated plant items such as pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels and valves.
  • Servicing of Combustion Appliances and associated plant together with the production of information for quotations for extra works.
  • Produce conditional and dilapidation reports, as requested.
  • Ensure standard of work is of a high level and compliant to relevant combustion regulations and company policies.
  • Be a member of the On-call Rota for the region.

Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

  • Commercial Gas Qualifications - CPA1, BMP1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, DAH1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, CDGA1, CORT1, CIGA1.
  • Possess a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic Team Player.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety.
  • Highly customer focused 'Can do' attitude.
  • Experience of working within a mobile workforce.
  • Experience dealing with customers and suppliers.
