We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Energy Assessor to join our client's team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in SBEM assessments and be adept at providing precise energy assessments and compliance calculations for commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform SBEM assessments across a range of commercial properties to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
- Issue Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for commercial buildings and offer guidance on energy efficiency enhancements.
- Work closely with project teams, architects, and engineers to assess energy consumption and suggest cost-effective optimization solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest building regulations, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability developments.
- Prepare thorough, clear reports and documentation for clients.
- Support clients throughout the entire assessment process, from initial consultation to final report submission.
- SBEM experience is preferable.
- A Level 4 NDEA (Non-Domestic Energy Assessor) qualification is essential.
- An OCDEA (On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor) qualification is beneficial but not essential.
- Proven experience in conducting commercial energy assessments and issuing EPCs.
