Opportunity
As a Civil Engineer – Wastewater Infrastructure, you’ll be part of a dynamic team focused on the detailed design and delivery of wastewater networks. With a hybrid working arrangement based in Brighton and occasional team days in Slough, you’ll support the development of sewerage rising mains, trunk sewers, and pipeline rehabilitation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed designs for wastewater networks, including pumping stations and gravity sewer systems.
- Ensure compliance with Water Industry Standards and Sewerage Sector Guidance.
- Liaise with utility companies and regulatory bodies to support project delivery.
- Use hydraulic modelling tools like InfoWorks ICM and MicroDrainage to enhance engineering solutions.
- Conduct condition assessments and feasibility studies for asset rehabilitation.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in UK-based wastewater pipeline design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modelling software.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to attend site visits.
