Ready to step into a Senior Civil Engineer role where you can lead projects, influence technical direction and help grow a high-performing civil engineering team? This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering residential, commercial and industrial developments across the UK, with clear progression toward Principal and Associate level.
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will take ownership of the civil engineering elements of appraisal, planning and detailed design, acting as a key technical and client-facing lead while supporting and developing junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead highways and drainage design for development projects
- Manage pre-purchase feasibility and discharge of planning conditions
- Oversee Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and SuDS design
- Deliver S38, S278 and S104 technical approvals
- Produce and review drawings, calculations and 3D ground models
- Coordinate with architects, planners, authorities and statutory bodies
- Mentor engineers and support team development
- Contribute to fee proposals and scope management
- Strong UK consultancy experience in development infrastructure
- Proven background in highways and drainage design
- Confident leading projects and managing technical delivery
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and drainage software
- Client-focused, commercially aware and ambitious to progress
