A Civil Engineer is required to join a growing consultancy in Leicester. This is a great opportunity for a Civil Engineer with four or more years' UK consultancy experience who wants ownership of detailed design work, clear progression and genuine flexibility within a supportive team.
This role sits within an expanding civil engineering group delivering highways, drainage and earthworks design across residential and commercial developments throughout Leicestershire and the wider East Midlands. You will work closely with an Associate, receiving strong technical support and a clear pathway toward Senior Civil Engineer level or Chartership, alongside genuine hybrid working.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed designs, drawings and calculations for highways and drainage
- Deliver work in line with S278, S38 and S104 adoption standards
- Support projects from early feasibility through to detailed design and approvals
- Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and local authorities
- Contribute to planning support, design statements and technical submissions
About You
- Degree qualified Civil Engineer or equivalent
- At least four years UK consultancy experience in infrastructure design
- Strong AutoCAD capability with experience using Civil 3D or Site 3D
- Drainage modelling experience with good knowledge of DMRB and Manual for Streets
- Confident communicator with strong technical problem-solving skills
