A fantastic position has become available for a Senior Energy Consultant to join an established Energy and Sustainability Consultancy as part of their central London based team. The successful Senior Energy Consultant will have the opportunity to work on large scale multi-residential, education, retail and retail projects across the UK.
Qualifications: In this instance applications are sought from candidates with a BEng / MEng (or equivalent) in a relevant building services / energy / environmental related discipline and with full membership to an appropriate professional body such as CIBSE / the Energy Institute.
Experience: It is anticipated that the successful Senior Energy Consultant will have demonstrable experience of low carbon design and energy modelling and be able to run projects with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing energy strategies
- Delivering energy consultancy advice to a variety of clients
- Undertaking building modelling using IES-VE
- Assisting with SAP including Part L, EPC, TM52 and daylight modelling
- Liaising with clients
- Managing your own projects
