Daily Duties:
- Lead the production and coordination of technical drawing packages using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Deliver detailed technical information across all RIBA work stages.
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, British Standards and Building Safety requirements.
- Coordinate architectural information with consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.
- Prepare specifications, schedules and documentation for planning, tender and construction.
- Attend site visits, design meetings and technical reviews.
- Support Building Regulations submissions and resolve technical queries.
- Maintain BIM standards, document control and drawing revision procedures.
- Identify technical risks, buildability issues and coordination challenges.
- Mentor and support junior Technicians and Technologists.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in technical delivery and studio standards.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- CIAT accreditation desirable.
- Strong experience delivering residential projects within a UK architectural or multidisciplinary practice.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety legislation, CDM and construction detailing.
- Experience working on Higher Risk Buildings (HRBs) and external wall remediation projects is highly desirable.
- Advanced Revit and AutoCAD skills.
- Strong understanding of BIM processes and technical coordination.
- Experience managing technical drawing packages through multiple RIBA work stages.
- Excellent organisational, communication and mentoring skills.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a collaborative approach to project delivery.
