The Role
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you'll support the team across a wide range of transport planning tasks, learning from experienced consultants and gaining hands-on project experience from day one. You'll play a role in helping shape transport strategies and supporting planning applications for developments across London and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
- Supporting junction modelling, data analysis and transport surveys (training provided)
- Helping prepare technical drawings, figures and plans
- Conducting research on transport policy and planning guidance
- Assisting with client communications and project coordination
- Supporting senior team members on a variety of development and infrastructure projects
About You
The ideal Graduate Transport Planner will be eager to learn, analytically minded and passionate about transport, planning and the built environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Planning or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Familiarity with transport planning concepts (software training provided)
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach
