An expanding, well established geotechnical and geo‑environmental consultancy based in London (with multiple offices across the UK) is seeking a driven and experienced Engineering Geologist to join their expanding team. With almost 50 years of expertise and numerous awards demonstrating their reputation, this consultancy is fully equipped to support a geotechnical engineer through a variety of projects, enabling career development in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out risk assessments
  • Conduct borehole logging
  • Supervise ground investigations
  • Perform groundwater and gas monitoring

Qualifications

  • Have a degree in geotechnical or civil engineering, geology, geoscience, environmental engineering or a similar/relevant subject
  • Experience as a geotechnical/geo‑environmental engineer
  • Exceptional communication skills, ideally with experience leading a team and/or supervising junior members
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence
  • Be commutable to and around the London area
  • Have full right to work in the UK
