Associate Geotechnical Director Central London £70,000 - £75,000 A leading engineering consultancy is looking for an experienced Associate Geotechnical Director to join its growing Central London team. This is a senior role for an experienced geotechnical professional looking to take on greater responsibility across project delivery, client management and team leadership. The role will involve working across a varied portfolio of projects, providing geotechnical advice from feasibility and investigation through to design and construction. Key responsibilities: Lead and manage geotechnical projects from inception through to completion. Provide technical input and oversight across a range of ground engineering projects. Manage and develop client relationships, identifying opportunities and supporting business growth. Review and oversee geotechnical reports, specifications, designs and technical deliverables. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and senior members of the team. Support project bids, fee proposals and business development activities. Work closely with engineers, contractors and other consultants to deliver practical solutions. Take responsibility for project budgets, programmes and overall delivery.The ideal candidate will have: Significant experience within geotechnical engineering consultancy. A strong technical background across ground investigation, design and assessment. Experience managing projects and client relationships. Previous experience mentoring or managing engineers. Strong communication and commercial skills. Chartered status with ICE or a similar professional institution, or be working towards it.This is a good opportunity for an experienced geotechnical engineer to step into a senior position with scope to take on greater technical, commercial and management responsibility
