Daily Duties
- Produce detailed technical drawing packages using Revit
- Develop construction details, specifications and technical documentation
- Coordinate information with architects, engineers and external consultants
- Prepare and manage BIM models throughout project delivery
- Attend design team meetings and technical workshops
- Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections as required
- Ensure designs comply with Building Regulations, planning requirements and industry standards
- Support project delivery from technical design through to construction
- Assist with technical problem-solving and project coordination
- Contribute to BIM standards and technical best practice across the studio
Ideal Candidate
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Architectural Technology, Architecture or a related discipline
- Intermediate to Senior level experience within a UK architectural practice
- Strong Revit proficiency is essential
- Excellent technical detailing and construction knowledge
- Experience producing coordinated technical drawing packages
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and current legislation
- Experience working across commercial, education, healthcare, residential, industrial or public sector projects
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- CIAT membership or progression towards chartership would be advantageous
