Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with geotechnical site investigations and ground assessments
  • Supporting intrusive ground investigations and site supervision
  • Soil and rock logging, sampling, and groundwater monitoring
  • Assisting with foundation assessments and earthworks evaluations
  • Coordinating geotechnical laboratory testing
  • Interpreting ground investigation data and preparing technical reports
  • Supporting slope stability and retaining wall assessments
  • Assisting senior engineers with project delivery and design work
  • Maintaining health & safety standards during site activities
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal project teams

What We're Looking For:

  • A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related subject
  • A strong interest in geotechnical engineering and ground investigation
  • Understanding of ground investigation techniques and geotechnical principles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, organised, and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Willingness to travel for site work across the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Right to work in the UK
