A well-established and highly regarded architectural practice, recognised for its thoughtful and sustainable approach to design, is seeking an experienced Architect to join its friendly and collaborative Cambridge studio. With a diverse portfolio spanning education, healthcare, cultural, and residential sectors, the practice is committed to delivering architecture of the highest quality, balancing creative ambition with technical rigour. This position offers the opportunity to take a key role in the design and delivery of a wide range of projects. You will work closely with internal project teams, external consultants, and contractors, supporting schemes from detailed design through to construction and on-site completion.
Responsibilities
- Lead the production of high-quality design and technical information
- Coordinate design and technical input with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Support project delivery across RIBA Stages 3-6
- Ensure compliance with current UK Building Regulations and technical standards
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment
- Assist with design coordination during construction and on-site stages
Skills & Experience
- ARB-registered Architect
- Experience working within a UK-based architectural practice
- Strong technical knowledge with excellent construction detailing ability
- Sound understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in Revit with a good working knowledge of BIM processes
- High level of attention to detail
