This architectural practice is seeking a Project Lead / Project Architect, with consideration also given to Associate-level candidates, to join its Healthcare, Education & Science (HES) team. The role will involve leading and delivering projects across a range of sectors and RIBA stages, with a particular focus on healthcare, education, science, and laboratory environments. The successful candidate will be a confident and experienced professional capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, building strong client and consultant relationships, and contributing to both design and technical delivery. A collaborative, proactive approach and strong leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to support project teams and maintain high standards of design and delivery.

Daily Duties
- Lead and deliver architectural projects across multiple RIBA stages
- Manage and coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, consultants, and wider design teams
- Support project setup, technical coordination, and design development
- Assist with project delivery using Revit where applicable
- Report project progress, programme updates, and anticipated timescales to senior leadership
- Work independently and collaboratively within project teams
- Support wider business and management tasks where required
- Maintain high standards of design quality and technical delivery
- Represent the practice professionally in all communications and project work
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified architect with relevant professional accreditation
- Minimum of several years' post-qualification experience
- Strong experience across both design and technical RIBA stages
- Experience within healthcare, education, science, or laboratory projects is highly desirable
- Laboratory project experience would be advantageous
- Revit experience preferred, but not essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident in leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic about architecture and professional development
- Comfortable engaging with clients, consultants, and industry peers outside of day-to-day project work
