Salary: 35-45,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD Layout Designer to join a busy and expanding residential team near Reading.
This role would suit a skilled designer with a strong background in producing residential layouts, site plans and masterplans, who is looking to join a collaborative team working across a variety of new-build housing and apartment developments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and well-considered layouts from initial concepts through to planning submission, working closely with planning and technical professionals throughout the process.
You will play a key role in creating practical and visually strong residential schemes, ensuring designs meet planning requirements, project specifications and deadlines.
The
Role: Prepare detailed site layouts and residential drawings using Auto CAD.
Develop masterplans and housing layouts for new-build residential developments.
Produce floor plans, elevations and presentation drawings for houses and apartment schemes.
Assist with the development of layouts from initial concepts through to planning submission.
Revise and update drawings in response to planning, design and client feedback.
