Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Midlands

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

A leading environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join its growing team in the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established organisation delivering essential water hygiene and treatment services across a range of commercial and public-sector environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring water systems remain safe, compliant, and properly maintained in line with relevant industry standards and legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out water hygiene services
  • Complete temperature monitoring, flushing programmes and water sampling.
  • Service TMVs
  • Clean and disinfect cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.
  • Complete showerhead descales and disinfection services.
  • Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Water Hygiene
  • Strong water hygiene knowledge and/or qualifications
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide and work overtime when required
