The Senior Highway Design Engineer will be Bristol based, supporting an established client base locally while delivering projects nationwide. This position suits someone who wants to grow personally, manage projects end to end and progress toward Principal and Associate level while helping to train junior staff.
Responsibilities:- Lead S278 and S38 highway design and technical approvals
- Produce and check drawings using AutoCAD and Site 3D
- Coordinate with local authorities, clients and design teams
- Support drainage and Flood Risk inputs where required
- Project manage selected highway schemes
- Mentor engineers and technicians as the team grows
- Senior Highway Design Engineer with 3 to 5 years UK consultancy experience
- Strong development led highway and adoption background
- Confident, organised and commercially aware
- Keen to take responsibility and progress into leadership
- Salary Β£35,000 to Β£45,000
